An elephant that escaped from South Africa’s Kruger Nationwide Park (KNP) on Saturday was killed after being chased by locals from a neighboring group.
Video footage confirmed residents of Matsulu, a city within the northern province of Mpumalanga, working in direction of the elephant, shouting and throwing objects at it.
